Food is a large part of my life, and I can probably assume it’s a big part of yours as well. We converse, connect, and develop our relationships at the dinner table. When it comes to food, though, and the type in which we eat, having a homemade meal can make a world of difference in how much we enjoy the event of a meal. Personally, this wasn’t something I learned as early as I should’ve; fast food was something I ate at least 5 times a month, foods that contained greasy fats and processed foods. It had an impact so visceral on both my mind and body that I knew it wasn’t sustainable; it wouldn’t sustain me. That's why I made the active decision to limit my consumption of it, not only upon the words of my parents, but also my will to eat better, live better.
